Returns & Refunds Policy

This Returns & Refunds Policy applies to all purchases made through RECOGNISED. We comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which guarantees your rights as a consumer.
 

Change of Mind Returns
 

  • We accept returns for change of mind within 14 days of delivery, provided that:

    • Items are unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with tags attached.

    • The customer provides proof of purchase.

  • Shipping costs for change of mind returns are the responsibility of the customer.

  • Refunds for change of mind will be issued to the original payment method, minus shipping costs (if applicable).

  • Sale items, gift cards, and final clearance products are not eligible for change-of-mind returns unless faulty.
     

Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
 

  • Under the ACL, you are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund if your item is:

    • Faulty or defective,

    • Significantly different from what was described, or

    • Not fit for its intended purpose.

  • If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order, with photos and your order number.

  • We will cover the return shipping costs for faulty or incorrect items.
     

Refunds
 

  • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method once the returned item has been received and inspected.

  • Please allow 30 days for the refund to appear in your account.

  • We will notify you via email once your refund has been processed.
     

Exchanges
 

  • We offer size and style exchanges where stock is available.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

  • If your requested exchange item is unavailable, we will issue a refund instead.
     

How to Lodge a Return
 

  1. Contact us at info@shoprecognised.com with your order number and reason for return.

  2. We will provide you with instructions and, where applicable, a prepaid return label (faulty/incorrect items only).

  3. Package your item securely and send it back to us within the required timeframe.
     

Consumer Rights (Australian Law)
 

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

  • You are entitled to a replacement or refund if goods are faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose.
